Fading
I have intervened in these photographs by digitally layering color stripes that partially obscure the original portraits. This gesture disrupts the immediacy of the image, inviting the viewer to look beyond surface recognition. The work operates as a temporal interface—recycling fragments of the past while embedding them in a contemporary visual language. In doing so, it opens multiple layers of interpretation, where personal memory, cultural codes, and social histories converge and collide
