Framed memories

This project is conceived as a series of installations linked to specific places. Each work is composed of items collected in op-shops, thrift or second-hand stores of the city where the piece was made. Using a mixed-media technique, those found elements were transformed into different intervened objects. Focusing on photographic images, the project interrogates the process of consumption/discarding of common things, contrasting with their capacity to represent personal experiences and become images that map inner-landscapes.
